Sukkot 2025 October 6-13

SUKKOT – is a weeklong Jewish holiday that comes five days after Yom Kippur. Sukkot celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection G‑d provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. We celebrate Sukkot by dwelling in a foliage-covered booth (known as asukkah) and by taking the  “four kinds” (arba minim), four special species of vegetation.

SUCOT: es una festividad judía de una semana de duración que se celebra cinco días después de Yom Kipur. Sucot celebra la recolección de la cosecha y conmemora la protección milagrosa que Dios brindó a los hijos de Israel al salir de Egipto. Celebramos Sucot habitando en una cabaña cubierta de follaje (conocida como asuká) y tomando las “cuatro especies” (arba minim), cuatro especies especiales de vegetación.
