At the end of the Friday evening Shabbat service on 8 November 2013, David Bentolila, a visitor from Madrid, presented the Synagogue with a magnificent Sefer Torah stand and two beautiful Rimonim in memory of his parents. Rimonim are the two silver ornaments adorned with small bells, that fit on top of the Sefer Torah scroll.

David lives in Madrid and visits our synagogue from time to time with his wife Sharon. He is the cousin of Jaime Bentolila, this community’s first president.
The President, Brian Imber, on behalf of the Community, thanked David for his generosity in presenting our Synagogue with such a beautiful and practical gift.
